Monday Again :(

Well the weekend went super fast again.

Last week wasn't a very productive week, kept on top of my 2nd job and just about on top of my business paperwork but nothing else was done. Was going to leave posting on here till I got something worthwhile done but that wouldn't be in the true essence of this blog. I was pre-menstrual last week and it really does affect me - everything seemed harder and really couldn't be asked.

However this week this will all change. I have a lot on the to do list today but it is achievable. My desk is clear as I tidied it last night & will be clear again tonight. Have 5 hours on my 2nd job, it is a call centre from home job which I am enjoying. I am reaching my calls per hour target but need to increase my sales which will be happening today - I am positive thinking today as you can see :)

Am very busy Monday to Thursday and the added bonus if that I am too busy to go anywhere to spend money so my aim again this week is only to spend on groceries till Thursday. I have menu planned and dont really need much till the end of the week.

I am going to be super-organised and post back later in the week with my achievements.

Another monday bites the dust!

Mondays do so roll round too quickly.

I am always busy on Mondays so the plus side is they do pass very quickly.

Had a good weekend, was busy Saturday with work then housework but had a lovely relaxing Sunday. Took my son B to boxing, we then have to kill 2 hours in town as its not worth driving home. Treated myself to a Starbucks and a little look round the shops. Bought myself a pen from Paperchase (one of my most favourite shops in the world) for only a £1.

Came home and had a chilled afternoon reading & watching TV with the family before cooking a lovely roast dinner. One of my aims this year is to spend better quality time with the family & also take time out to relax. I was ill in November last year and I am sure it was because I was never switching off.

No major amounts have been done towards the office de clutter mission so far. Have tidied one pin board and cleared out a load of books. Still will devote some more time this week. Have a lot to go but am quite organised.

Made dinner tonight with leftovers and have menu planned for the week. This makes so much difference to our shopping bill and there is very little, if any food waste. Also didn't spend any money today. Have to have my car serviced on Friday so aim to get to Thursday with money only being spent on necessary groceries.

One major thing that happened today is that we have booked a mid-week break for August to Center Parcs. I found the price quite reasonable and we are all very excited and really looking forward to it. We now have something good to look forward to and focus on. Have a very motivating picture of where we are staying on my pin board in front of my desk so when I am feeling frustrated & bored with work I can look at it and remind myself what I am working for.

Mega Quick Update Am Too Darn Busy

Wow, having a productive organised week so far.

Am having to do loads of hours on my second job. Am contracted to do 20 hours per week and having to catch up this week due to the Bank Holiday (am so glad to be back to normal now). As usual having more to do is making me manage my time better.

Am completing office essentials before 9am every morning and then spending the rest of the day receiving phone calls. Am finished about the time the kids come home from school so then making dinner and spending some time with the family.

Has been made easier in that J, my partner, is home and doing the housework!

Have half hour breaks throughout my working day and have just done a spot of de cluttering in my first break - I am so on a roll.

Have a nice pile of books now for the charity shop as now I have my Kindle there is no need to keep them. I have to admit that I was a little shocked by all the 'self-help' books I seem to have accumulated.

Have done a load of sale shopping online so no reason to hit the shopping centres though I do admit I keep feeling the pull of them - so am glad am too busy to get out the house for any decent amount of time at the moment.

Anyway, work is calling so will get on. 2011 has started well on the organised front and want to keep the momentum going..........just wont think about the ironing mountain for now ;)

2011!

Yay, 2011 here at last.

Was awake till 11pm last night, can't have been many fireworks as I then slept all the way through till 6.30.  Watched Grumpy Old New Year last night and agreed with the lot of it lol - think I should have been on there.

Although we don't celebrate New Years eve, we do something on the 1st that we really enjoy. Today, as last year, we went up to Covent Garden, had a Starbucks or two and spent a few pleasant hours wandering around the shops. Had a lovely look around Cath Kidston and the Covent Garden Market. Was most disappointed to find that a shop I really wanted to visit - Filofax - was closed :(.

Then we headed to our favourite restauant - Won Kei's in Chinatown. It isn't the most of classiest of restaurants but the food is fantastic and very very reasonable. It is well known as having the worlds rudest waiters but I never noticed them being particularly bad, they are very busy and just do not waste time on excellent customer service - luckily the food speaks for itself.

We were extra lucky today in that we managed to find a free parking space. Its mad that you can park in the West End for free but if I went to my local town I would have to pay.

So all in all a good day was had by all and a lovely start to the new Year.

Tomorrow have promised my youngest. B, to take him to our nearest big town - Chelmsford to let him speak some Xmas vouchers on DVD's. I don't often go shopping with him alone and am looking forward to it, when he isn't arguing with his sister he really is good company.

Now am going to collapse in front of the telly - walking around London is so tiring.
